Wind and Sea

Sometimes, an author needs to leave her natural habitat. (In my case, that’s my writing chair, which is tucked into the corner of our bedroom closet.)

This past weekend, I took a little time to bask in the sun, listen to the waves, and take deep breaths of salty air. My daughter snapped a picture of me on the warm stones at Windansea, one of our San Diego beaches. Lately, it’s been a favorite place to go and watch the sunset.
