Sometimes, an author needs to leave her natural habitat. (In my case, that’s my writing chair, which is tucked into the corner of our bedroom closet.)
This past weekend, I took a little time to bask in the sun, listen to the waves, and take deep breaths of salty air. My daughter snapped a picture of me on the warm stones at Windansea, one of our San Diego beaches. Lately, it’s been a favorite place to go and watch the sunset.
