_Pursuing Prissie

Summary: Ten years after the events of The Blue Door, Prissie Pomeroy experiences an angelic reprise when she meets another little boy she shouldn’t be able to see. Asher seems to be using his Caretaker’s powers very carelessly, but he claims to be Sent. His meddling mixes up Prissie’s life just in time for Ransom Pavlos to return to West Edinton. The newly credentialed pastry chef hopes to make a place for himself in town, preferably at Prissie’s side. But she’s too distracted by a very different pursuit to notice. An old enemy finds his way back to the Pomeroys’ farm, and the Guardian who knows him best must step forward to keep Prissie safe.

I finished it last night! It was amazingly awesome. I won’t spill any secrets (I know that at least one friend will bang me over the head with something ‘weapony’ if I do) but I’ve just gotta say that it left every expectation behind in the dust as it raced to higher levels of glory and awesomeness.
Thanks so much for writing it, Mrs. Kinde! There were about a thousand times I shrieked or squealed with laughter and delight. And there were SO many times I would think nostalgically about some favorite scenes from previous books and stories, thinking this would be the perfect place to refer to them, then *bam*! Wish granted! (Seriously, do you moonlight as a wish-giving fairy or something?)
All that said, you guys should read it ASAP!

It took me forever, but I finished. It was AMAZING!! I loved all of the references to previous stories and seeing how everyone turned out after ten years. It was well worth the wait! I laughed out loud so many times.
