Chapter 200: Written in Rows
While Tamaes and Adin regaled Weft, Loris led Taweel to a quieter corner. For many moments, the only sound was the slip of bronze thread through soft raiment. “So Tamaes asked to come home?”
“And you came here.”
Thick brows drew together.
Loris helpfully added, “Instead of the encampment.”
“Do you mind?”
The Weaver laughed. “I am delighted beyond words, but … there is this to consider.”
He lifted the tunic, and Taweel recognized his own past, his present, and a future he hadn’t expected.
Confirmation came from God Himself. ‘Child of Light, I have need of you.’
