Chapter 198: Without Reservation
Tamaes and Adin collided with a crack of breastplates and boisterous greetings. Tangled wings sent them tumbling, and Taweel lunged when it became apparent that neither boy intended to let go. Dropping beneath the twins, Taweel hauled them into his arms … and grunted. These two were pushing his limits.
The big warrior barely prevented them from careening into an unfamiliar district. Instead, the three of them ended as a heap in some meadow.
Then Adin’s arms were around Taweel’s neck, a kiss found his cheek, and teary laughter was in his ear. “I missed you so much! Welcome home!”
