Chapter 122: God’s Timing
“You came!” Raising his voice even higher, Weft called, “They’re here!”
“And in God’s own timing,” Loris replied, strolling into the room. “The final stitch has been knotted.”
Tamaes hooked Weft’s arm and pulled him closer. Tapping the bared blade in Taweel’s grasp, he proudly announced, “See the stone? Taweel is my mentor. My name is under his hand!”
Weft giggled. “I know! God is wise.”
“How did you know?” Taweel asked, glancing at Loris.
The Weaver smiled broadly. “Your raiment has been prepared, and basins await. Come and wash, and my apprentice and I will see you properly arrayed.”
