Chapter 134: Me, Mysewf, and Mine
By summer’s end, Zeke had mastered pedaling his trike and was ready to test his limits. Ethan paced after the boy as he struggled determinedly along the gravel road. Thankfully, eight-year-old Prissie hurried over, “No-no, Zeke! Not in the road!”
He pouted. “Daddy.”
“The bakery’s too far,” his sister insisted. “Do you need help back to the driveway?”
“Mysewf.”
“Are you sure?”
“Mysewf.”
While Prissie watched her brother grind his way back onto the driveway, Milo arrived with the mail, and Zeke tumbled off his trike in a rush. “My ’Lo!”
Ethan grinned when the Messenger cheerfully replied, “My ’Eke!”
