Chapter 133: Up, Down, In, Around
Seven-year-old Beau kept track of Tuesdays because storytime at their local library was the highlight of his week. Zeke enjoyed these outings just as much as his brother, but not for books’ sake. His fascination lay with the gazebo where storytime was held. Stairs, benches, lattice, rails—they were better than any jungle gym.
Lucan asked, “Inside or the outside?”
With a rueful smile, Ethan replied, “I will leave the perimeter to you.”
Naomi’s Guardian scanned the vicinity. “Ah.”
“He is gone.”
Several other children’s guardians helpfully pointed the way. Somehow, Zeke had found his way under the gazebo.
